Our Story
California Construction Concepts was founded by Marshall Dohoney in 2001. Our company provides a wide range of construction management services for residential and commercial developments including maintenance, modernization, risk management, leak detection, reconstruction projects, and more. Since its inception, California Construction Concepts has built a strong background in construction management and consulting services using a hands-on, common sense approach to addressing a wide range of construction issues.
In 2003, California Construction Concepts transitioned into General Contracting, providing our clients with a wide variety of services. General Contracting is, and always has been, the foundation California Construction Concepts business has been built on.
California Construction Concepts is recognized for our technical expertise, as well as our knowledge of the legal aspects of construction. This enables us to provide exceptional construction management and general contracting services to our clients, while protecting and preserving their financial interests.

Marshall Dohoney, President and CEO
Marshall Dohoney began his career in construction over 25 years ago, working for his family’s construction business. He has had the opportunity to learn numerous trades throughout his career, providing a strong foundation for the specialized services offered by California Construction Concepts. Mr. Dohoney has a wealth of experience working with both property managers and attorneys in resolving architectural, structural, water intrusion, roofing, and general repair problems.
Marshall Dohoney’s active day-to-day involvement in all projects provides seasoned leadership to the company, guaranteeing successful construction and reconstruction management services year in and year out.
